Toei Shinyaku Files Patent Application Based on Agaricus KA21 Research Related to Ovarian Function

Toei Shinyaku Obtains Japanese Patent Based on Agaricus KA21 Research Related to Stress-Induced Cognitive Dysfunction

Toei Shinyaku Co., Ltd. obtained two U.S. patents for β-glucan measurement technologies developed through collaborative research on outdoor-cultivated Agaricus KA21 with the Department of Immunology, School of Pharmacy, Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences.

The patented technologies concern methods for measuring β-glucans, which are major structural components found in fungi, including mushrooms. The research was conducted as part of Toei Shinyaku’s long-term scientific investigation of Agaricus KA21.

The corresponding technologies have also been patented in Japan.

Toei Shinyaku has conducted research on outdoor-cultivated Agaricus KA21 for more than 30 years and continues to develop scientific evidence and intellectual property through collaboration with universities and research institutions.

Agaricus KA21 is derived from outdoor-cultivated Agaricus brasiliensis and is commercially known as King Agaricus KA21.
